Talks

I am a member of The Garden Media Guild and the Professional Garden Photographers' Association (PGPA). I am also on the Hardy Plant Society, Plant Heritage and RHS lists of speakers.

I offer a talk and a photography show; "Two for the price of one"!

My fee to horticultural societies and gardening clubs up to 65 miles from Harpenden is from £130, plus train and Underground travel as appropriate.  For longer distances I would require overnight accommodation please.
All talks are PowerPoint presentations and I bring my own projector and laptop but would require a screen and projector stand please.   I can also bring books for sale.

What's in a Name?  An overview of my work on Thymus nomenclature. An academic talk more suitable for students, botanists, etc.

Talks during COVID-19

Until further notice all my talks will only be available via Zoom. As it is not possible at present for horticultural society members to meet together for their usual meetings I am happy to offer the opportunity to enjoy a talk, and my photographs in their own homes as an alternative. Please note that the talks on Thymus and on grasses are not available on Zoom.

The talks will be Powerpoint, as usual, via my desk top computer and using a professional microphone and webcam.

My fee is £150 and can be paid by bank transfer.

I require the group to provide the host for the meeting and the group to be responsible for Zoom meeting set up and membership.
